Here are the Following Merit Activitiy: The activities will be assigned in order from first activity to the last. You cannot pick an activity if one before it is not yet assigned: UPDATED: June 1, 2001 1. Parade Video Activity 50 merits to 300 merits Get some old videos of us playing (Washington D.C. days) and let us watch it. 2.Phantom Practice: 25-100 merits Set up a professional practice for the rookies to learn phantom. More merits will be given with more successful meetings. Assigned to 3. Pictures for Website Take a certain amount of great pictures of the scouts during camping trips or whatever for the website. Better pictures=more merits Assigned to 4. Alumni and Music Collect mp3s of the old Phantom music we played. To find them, ask the alumni, girl scouts, or Adult leaders. Also record some of our current music. We will then download them on the web for the rookies. It needs to be complete (not just bugles or drums). 100 merits mp3 of old music 50 merits mp3 of current music 5. Music Notes Raymond wants to compile a list of all of Troop 12's Music into a folder. Any available music with notes should be given to Raymond. Fingerings should be given to Tim. 25 Merits per Music Sheet 6. Camping Equipment List Compile a list of all the camping equipment needed for Summer Camp or for a 2-3 day trip (Two different Projects) and photocopy about 30 of them. 50 Merits per List 7. Iron the Flags 8. Put the Library in Order As you can see, the troop library isn't ordered correctly. I want it put back in alphabetical order. List every book we have, give the dates for EACH book, and put them on a list for me. (75 merits) 9. Rope Coil and Twine Fixing The Rope Bags need to be put into order for Summer Camp(Not Before) (50 merits) 10. Brownsea Staff No, not join that insane cult, take the Staves!! Anyone doing Brownsea this year should take all the staves that people are not bringing home, hide them under our tent platforms so that we can retrieve them later (5 merits each and you use it for TRIPODS) 11. Pre-Package Troop Sign We are not bringing any poles up except for the ones that will be used for the sign. So, we need people to pre-package all the poles Dragons will need for the Sign. (Use the same poles as Nikeii!!) (25 merits) 12. Wood Burning Research which wood burns the longest, the fastest, the best(in general), and give us a report on them. Use only Western trees in the area of Wente please!!(40 merits) 13. Invent a wind blower We need a better way of blowing the fire. If you can invent a better way of doing it (A strong version of the air pump) and teach everyone how to make it, you can get easy merits(25-50) 14.
